Jim Burdick, along with his Wife Jennifer and Daughter Sawyer are the owners and operators of Jimmer's Wood Yard LLC located out of Council Idaho. Jim has been in the Firewood business for the past 16 years and has a total obsession with everything firewood.
Firewood is our main source of home heat and a warm campfire is always a staple at our gatherings. Fire has kept people warm, fed and socially together for thousands of years.

Firewood Preparation
We provide high-quality firewood that is seasoned, dry, and free of dirt, ensuring it's ready to burn. Our wood is carefully processed to meet moisture levels under 20% for efficient burning and is hand loaded to ensure cleanliness.
Kiln & Solar Drying
To guarantee top performance, we use solar and kiln drying methods to reduce moisture content before it even leaves our wood yard. This process ensures you get the best burn quality every time.

Why is your price of firewood sometimes higher than others?
We spend extra time filtering through our inventory to provide a cleaner, drier and more consistent end product. We do this by discarding odd shape pieces and loading all of our wood by hand.
Do you offer custom size pieces of firewood?
YES! Our standard pieces of firewood are cut to an average length of 16inches and in sizes manageable by most people. If you would like custom cuts, we ask you to notify us 6 months in advance.
Do you offer firewood all year round?
Yes and No. We are a smaller company, so our inventory depends on the supply of wood. We are able to provide our bundles year-round, but our bulk cord wood depends on the supply and demand for that season
